Ashley B. Wheelock

Ashley B. Wheelock was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1979, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002. While at Berkeley, Ms. Wheelock was a member of Alpha Phi International Fraternity and its Vice-President of Membership in 2001. She spent her junior summer abroad in Greece. Ms. Wheelock received her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. While in law school, she was a Thurgood Marshal Scholar (Fall 2002) and Murray Snyder Public Interest Fellow (Summer 2004). She was also twice a semi-finalist in the Gilbert A. Cuneo Government Contracts Moot Court Competition (Spring 2004 & 2005).
Ms. Wheelock was admitted to the California Bar in March 2006, and first worked with Manning, Leaver, Bruder & Berberich in Los Angeles from March 2006, through March 2008, where she specialized in civil litigation involving auto dealerships. Upon returning to the Bay Area in June 2008, she joined Burton, Schmal & DiBenedetto where she continues to specialize in civil litigation. Ms. Wheelock is a member of the Santa Cruz County Bar and Monterey County Bar Associations.
Ms. Wheelock lives in Scotts Valley, and, when time permits, enjoys running, gardening, playing bridge, and reading.
